Comedian To Host One-Hour Sports Talk Show On Comcast-Owned Service

Dennis Miller will take his combative brand of commentary and humor to Versus.
The one-hour Sports Unfiltered With Dennis Miller in which he will focus on developments in the sporting universe is scheduled to air Tuesdays at 10 p.m., beginning Nov. 6. Versus has ordered eight episodes.
Miller, who has hosted talk shows on HBO (Dennis Miller Live) and CNBC (Dennis Miller) and did a one-season turn as an analyst on ABC’s Monday Night Football, is working with Hell's Kitchen producer Arthur Smith, on the new program.
“Dennis is such a passionate sports fan and brings an interesting angle and perspective of things,” said Versus senior vice president of programming and production Marc Fein. “It’s a big move for us, but it goes along with network. It will be raw and pure and will offer a different perspective on things.”
