Mediacom Communications and Ion Media Networks have reached a long-term carriage deal for the broadcaster’s suite of channels, officials said Monday.

The pact includes long-term carriage of the Ion Television Network, as well as the digital launch of multicast channels Qubo and Ion Life networks

Qubo, is a television and multimedia network for children formed in partnership with several leading media and entertainment companies, while Ion Life is dedicated to health and wellness for consumers and families.

“Ion Television has long been an important part of our service offering,” Italia Commisso Weinand, Mediacom’s senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. “So, we are pleased to be able to add even more quality ION content to our lineup.”
