HGTV Reorders Three Real Estate Series

Responding to strong ratings for its real-estate programming, HGTV has ordered additional episodes of House Hunters, Hidden Potential and My First Place.
House Hunters, one of HGTV's most popular and long-running series, takes viewers behind the scenes as individuals, couples and families learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is meant for them. Focusing on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a new home, each episode shows the process as buyers search for a home. Produced by Pie Town Productions since 1999, House Hunters airs Monday through Friday at 10:00 p.m.
Hidden Potential, which premiered a year ago, features homebuyers who get to see what their dream home could look like before they buy it. In each episode, homebuyers look at three very different, yet similarly priced homes in need of renovation. As they tour each home, architect/design expert Barry Wood displays computer generated graphics that showcase the home's "hidden potential". In the end, nationally known realtor Brandie Malay offers expertise and advice as viewers learn which house the homebuyer chooses to turn into their dream home. Produced by Leopard Films, Hidden Potential airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m.
My First Place captures the trials and tribulations of real-life first-time homebuyers finding and financing their first place. In each episode viewers follow one set of first-timers and their realtor through the stress-filled journey, beginning with the exciting search for the perfect home, learning the pitfalls of financing, the best bidding strategies, and surviving the home inspection. Produced by High Noon Entertainment, My First Place airs on Sundays at 10:30 p.m.
