Oxygen VOD Soars To Milestone
On-Demand Service Now Available To 25 Million Mulitchannel Subs

With recent rollouts on Comcast, DirecTV and Wide Open West, Oxygen’s on-demand platform is now available to over 25 million homes.
Officials at the women’s-targeted service, which is being purchased by NBC Universal, said Oxygen On Demand has surpassed that milestone through carriage pacts with 13 distributors around the country, a list that also Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Cox Communications and Insight Communications.
Oxygen On Demand features such original series fare as The Bad Girls Club, Tori & Dean: Inn Love,Snapped and The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, as well as such exclusive content such as Oh! Air Karaoke.
“We’re thrilled with the growth that our On Demand offerings have seen. Women are huge proponents of this service and we’ve successfully tapped into that market,” said Mary Murano, president of distribution at Oxygen, in a statement. “We’ll continue to work with our affiliate partners to deliver on every platform that our audience is on, as well as focus on our VOD offerings to make sure our audience is receiving the best content Oxygen has available.”
