AT&T is rolling out its suite of interactive TV features to U-verse TV customers in the Houston area, hoping that mah-jongg on television will give it an edge against incumbent cable operator Comcast.
The new interactive features are available to customers at no extra charge. They include AT&T U-bar, which delivers customizable weather, stock, sports and traffic information to the TV, access to Yahoo! Games including sudoku, solitaire and mah-jongg tiles, and the ability to search AT&T’s YellowPages.com directory listings.
