Charter Adds WealthTV’s HD Shows On Demand

Launch Follows Recent Rollout On FiOS TV

WealthTV said its high-definition programming lineup has become available to Charter Communications customers on demand nationwide.

The launch announcement follows a similar one concerning Verizon’s FiOS TV service, which has is now offering the HD lifestyle and entertainment service on demand in Tampa, Fla.; Richmond and Virginia Beach, Va.; Fort Wayne, Ind., and Pittsburgh, according to the network. The FiOS rollout schedule includes the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., Massachusetts and Rhode Island this year, followed by the remaining FiOS TV markets next year, the network said.

WealthTV also has some full-time carriage, in standard- and high-definition formats, on Charter systems, according to network officials.
