The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the Writers Guild have confirmed they will conduct "informal talks" on Wednesday (Jan. 23.)
In a prepared statement, the two groups said the talks will determine whether there is basis for resuming formal talks to end the strike called by the WGA on Nov. 4.
The parties have agreed not to talk about the talks, to the media, in the meantime.
