A fourth official at GSN, senior vice president of advertising sales Christopher Raleigh, has left the network, taking a post at The Weather Channel, officials said Wednesday.
A GSN ad sales official since 2005, Raleigh will now serve as senior vice president and general sales manager for The Weather Channel Media Solutions. Raleigh will be based in the network’s New York office and will oversee all TWC national sales offices. He will report to Paul Iaffaldano, executive vice president and general manager of TWC Media Solutions.
Raleigh’s responsibilities at The Weather Channel will include all facets of network ad- revenue generation. All field sales offices will report directly to him.
Raleigh is the fourth official to leave GSN, which is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Liberty Media, since David Goldhill came on board to succeed Rich Cronin as president last year.
John Roberts, who was GSN’s senior vice president of digital media and interactive entertainment, has exited the network, along with Scott Perlmutter, vice president of distribution.
Back in October GSN senior vice president of marketing Dena Kaplan exited the service to join NFL Network, as senior vice president of marketing.
Goldhill has started to make his own hires and assemble his own team, bringing over ESPN veteran John Zaccario as senior vice president of advertising sales earlier this year.
