Logo Lifts Sherman To EVP, GM
Executive Charged With Further Expansion Of LGBT-Aimed Service

Logo has elevated Lisa Sherman to executive vice president, general manager.
For more than two years as senior vice president, general manager, Sherman has been running the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community-aimed network, creating and developing its multiplatform business plan.
She has also worked closely with Brian Graden, president, MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment and Logo president, in developing and acquiring the network’s diverse programming slate that includes such fare as The Big Gay Sketch Show, The L Word, Exes and Ohs, Rick & Steve, Noah’s Arc and the upcoming Transamerican Love Story
The network, which has 130 advertisers partners, currently counts some 30 million subscribers, with carriage contracts in the top 25 DMAs, as well as such other areas as Joplin, Mo. and Amarillo, Tex.
Additionally, Logo has digital deals with such platforms as iTunes, Amazon Unbox, Xbox and wireless providers. It has also a contract with retail giant Wal-Mart Stores.
“Lisa is that rare individual who, as a leader, shows everyone what is possible, balancing Logo's daring vision with the hard management sense required to achieve lift off,” said Graden in a statement. “Thanks to her inspiration, LGBT people now have a television home to call their own.”
