Outdoor Channel Says WOW After Launches
Hunting And Fishing Net Gains Berth In Midwest Markets

WideOpenWest has launched Outdoor Channel on digital cable in or around Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, the programmer said Tuesday.
The channel, which cut its license fee about a year ago in hopes of adding more subscribers and boosting ad revenue, currently has around 30 million subscribers.
CEO Roger Werner said recently
the network, which focuses on hunting and fishing and other outdoor activities, was in "late-stage" negotiations on several new or renewed affiliate agreements.
Privately owned WOW operates in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
