'Westminster Kennel Dog Show' Wins Ribbon For Ratings
USA Network Broadcast Averages Over 3 Million Viewers Per Night

USA Network barked up a huge audience for its two-day coverage of the Westminster Kennel Dog Show.
The show, which aired this past Monday (2/11) and Tuesday (2/12) averaged 3.23 million viewers, up from last year’s 2.6 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Parts of the competition, in which 15-inch beagle Uno became the first in his breed to win the Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show award, also aired Monday on CNBC. The news network drew 1.7 million viewers for its 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. block of live coverage, according to Nielsen.
That wasn’t enough however to best VH1’s third season premiere of its popular Flavor Of Love celebreality series Monday night. The show, in which veteran rap artist Flavor Flav once again seeks to find the love of his dreams, drew 2.8 million viewers during its 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. debut.
The performanceof Flavor Of Love 3 fell short of the 3.3 million that tuned into the show’s August 2006 sophomore season premiere and well short of the 7.5 million viewers who watched that season’s October 2006 finale, according to Nielsen.
