Operator Will Launch Seven New HD Services Next Week

Cox's Arizona will add seven new high-definition channels to its cable lineups on March 18 in the Phoenix area and in southern parts of the state.
The additions include TBS HD, Science Channel HD, Discovery HD, Golf Channel HD/Versus HD (for sports tier subscribers), Food Network HD, Animal Planet HD and History Channel HD.
By the end of the year, Cox systems in the state should offer 80 HD channels, according to the operator.
This is the latest service enhancement announced by the operator: It is also debuted an enhanced security suite for broadband customers and it is rolling out on demand programming, which began in Scottsdale.
