Company Lands Another Partner For Tracking VOD Viewership

Rentrak announced a multi-year services contract with Time Warner Cable to provide video-on-demand measurement and analytical services, giving Rentrak deals with every major cable distributor except Cox Communications.
Portland, Ore.-based Rentrak said it now gathers VOD viewership data from more than 45 million set-top boxes across North America and other countries around the world. The company also gathers information from movie screens and home video outlets.
Rentrak’s other operator customers include Bresnan Communications, Cablevision Systems, Charter Communications, Comcast, Insight Communications, Suddenlink and Verizon Communications.
