Jonas Brothers 'Burning Up' Disney Channel
Interstitial, Live-Action Series, Telefilm All In Works For Music Group

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are busy boys.
Better known as the musical group the Jonas Brothers, the band’s recent tour will be the subject of a short-form, reality interstitial series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, which is slated to bow on Disney Channel later this spring.
In addition, the Jonas Brothers will appear in an original telefilm on the network in June and are scheduled to begin production on a live-action series this fall.
The guys, whose self-titled sophomore album has gone platinum since its release on Hollywood Records last August, gained greater fame as the opening act for the "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds" concert tour, which trekked from October through January.
Now, they’ve wrapped their own tour with Disney Channel in tow. Those and other shoots will yield an interstitial look at their on- and off-stage lives. The shorts will feature the band with their parents and brother Frankie at rehearsals; life on the tour bus; stage performances; and such activities as indoor sky-diving to go-kart racing.
Disney Channel officials said that with production still taking place it was unclear when the series would specifically debut or in what format. Typically, Disney Channel airs interstitials that run for between three- to five-minutes.
“The Jonas Brothers are an unstoppable force that has exploded onto the music scenes. We are thrilled they have allowed us this unprecedented access to document their journey to superstardom,” said Gary Marsh, president, entertainment, Disney Channels Worldwide, in a statement.

ginal movie Camp Rock, which stars Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres, a talented but shy singer who must put her fears behind and step into the spotlight.
The 15-year-old Lovato -- who played Angela on Barney and Friends, alongside her best friend Selena Gomez (Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place) -- made her mark on the network’s As The Bell Rings interstitial series last year and could be the next big thing for the service. As was the case with Cyrus in 2006, Lovato will be put center stage before advertisers at Disney Channel’s April 8th upfront presentation at Legacy Recording Studios in New York
Back with the brothers Jonas, they will embark on another tour this summer, "Burning Up," in support of their third album.
After that trek, production is slated to start this fall on J.O.N.A.S., a comedy/spy series, starring the guys.
