AT&T announced that U-verse TV and Internet services are now available to more than 150,000 living units in and around the Austin area, stepping up competition with incumbent Time Warner Cable.
In the central Texas region, U-verse TV is offered in parts of Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Sunset Valley and West Lake Hills.
In November, AT&T said it expected to spend $500 million more than previously reported on the U-verse expansion through 2008.
