Network Greenlights New Season Of Franchise For Summer Debut

MTV has picked up another season of Diddy helping to make bands.
The new season of Making The Band will chronicle the journey of rising stars Day26 and Donnie Klang and platinum artist Danity Kane as they travel across the country on a promotional tour in support of their respective albums.
The 10-episode Making The Band 4, Season 3 is expected to air this summer, according to MTV officials.
The recently completed campaign, Making The Band 4, Season 2, ranked first in its Monday 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period among females 12 to 34 across all cable, and reached over 55 million viewers 2+, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
The full season of Making the Band 4 averaged a 2.2 rating against the12-34 set, up 8% versus last season. Since its premiere, Making The Band 4 has consistently ranked as one of the top shows on MTV.com, delivering over 9 million streams and attracting nearly 2.5 million visits to the show’s area on the site.
