Sundance Channel is making programming from its environmentally friendly programming strand available for download on the iTunes Store.
Programming from “The Green” includes the award-winning documentary series Big Ideas for a Small Planet and the first episode from season two is available as a free download from March 26 through April 1.
Subsequent episodes of the franchise, which presents forward-thinking designers, products and processes that are at the forefront of a new green world, will be available for purchase and download from iTunes for $1.99 the day after they premiere on Sundance Channel, which is reportedly on the selling block.
Additionally, interstitial series EcoBiz, which explores financial aspects of environmental innovation, and The Ecoists, featuring active and recognizable environmental activists sharing ideas and information, will be accessible for free from iTunes Podcast on the Wednesday following their Sundance debuts.
