Bresnan Communications will expand its ad insertion capabilities with the purchase of Rev-Gen ad server units from AdGorilla.
Denver-based AdGorilla specializes in modular ad insertion equipment, designed to require minimal initial capital investment or headend space. The modular design will allow Bresnan to expand its hardware along with the growth of its customer base, instead of having to buy a new system.
Kelly Enright, Bresnan's regional vice president of ad sales, said the Rev-Gen equipment easily interfaces with the cable company's traffic and billing software, and the small size fit well into company head-ends. She also cited the low price-point for the hardware.
According to AdGorilla, RevGen system prices start at $5,000.
