Sen. Hillary Clinton will make an appearance on The Colbert Report Thursday during the show’s week-long remote broadcast from the University of Pennsylvania, Comedy Central announced Wednesday.
Clinton will be making her first visit to the Peabody Award-winning show just ahead of the crucial Democratic primary in Pennsylvania. The senator has twice appeared on The Daily Show, which airs half an hour ahead of The Colbert Report Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central.
The show, officially branded as ‘The Colbert Report: Dorito’s Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage From Chili-Delphia—The City of Brotherly Crunch!,” will be broadcast remotely for the first time.
Programming highlights for the week include filmed pieces of a tour of Philadelphia and an installment of the 434-part series “Better Know A District” with Congressman Joe Sestak presenting “The Fightin’ 7th” District of Pennsylvania.
The Colbert Report airs regularly Monday through Thursday at 11:30 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
