E! Unveils Revamped Web Site

E! Online Relaunched With New Features Including Breaking News Blog

Larry Barrett -- Multichannel News, 4/22/2008 3:08:00 AM

E! Entertainment Tuesday announced the relaunch of its E! Online Web site, featuring more photos, videos and an enhanced celebrity news blog to cover breaking news stories from across the entertainment industry.

“The relaunch ensures that we will continue to deliver the most reliable, up-to-the-minute entertainment news and information as quickly as possible, keeping fans connect to their favorite celebrities 24/7,” Suzanne Kolb, executive vice president, marketing and communication, for E! Entertainment and The Style Network, said in a statement.

“We are confident that users will find the new site engaging, informative and easy to navigate,” she added.

The network’s multimedia series E! News Now will be integrated into the new breaking news blog with video news updates directly from the E! News newsroom hosted by Ashlan Gorse.

The site will also feature a new blog for E!’s popular tongue-in-cheek series The Soup, giving fans an online serving of commentary on “celebrity slip-ups, reality TV moments and Internet mayhem,” the network said.

Fans can also check out exclusive clips, photos and behind-the-scenes scoop, as well as a Soup-themed Sudoku game, “Soup-doku.”

E! is available in more than 94 million U.S. households.
