The hour-long program premiered Nov. 29 on the Telemundo network to great fanfare and with a host of blue-chip sponsors, including Pontiac, Coors and T-Mobile.
The show is scheduled to air for the last time Thursday May 8.
In a brief statement, and without citing specific numbers, Telemundo said the audience “did not respond as we would have liked them to, and the show did not deliver the ratings performance we expected.”
Más Vale Tarde will be replaced by sports show Titulares y Más, which will run now five nights a week.
