Joel Stillerman was named New York-based senior vice president, original programming, production and digital content at AMC. He had been founder and chairman of Yolo Films.

Cartoon

Cartoon Network has promoted Stacy Isenhower to senior vice president, programming and scheduling, based in Atlanta. She had been VP, research for Cartoon, Boomerang and Adult Swim.

Collins Stewart

Thomas Eagan has joined Collins Stewart as a New York-based senior media research analyst. He comes from Oppenheimer & Co., where he covered cable and satellite-TV stocks.

Comcast

John Whalen was named vice president, business services at Comcast’s Exton, Pa.-based Central Pennsylvania region. He comes from Level 3 Communications, where he was general manager.

Also, Susan Portwood was named vice president, marketing and sales in Comcast’s Houston Region. She had been VP, marketing and sales in the Connecticut-West Region.

Conexant

D. Scott Mercer was named chief executive officer at Conexant Systems. He had been a director of the Newport Beach, Calif.-based semiconductor company.

Also, Christian Sherp was promoted to president from senior VP, worldwide sales.

And Sailesh Chittipeddi advanced to executive vice president, global operations and chief technical officer from senior VP, global operations.

Discovery

James Hitchcock has joined Silver Spring, Md.-based Discovery Channel as marketing and branding officer. He had been senior vice president, marketing and creative at CMT.

Disney/ESPN

Disney and ESPN Media Networks has elevated Matt Kenny to vice president, field sales, Western Division, based in Burbank, Calif.

Also, Eric Ratchman was named vice president, media development, based in Cheshire, Conn. He had been senior director, business strategy and development.

Fox Cable

Pamela Henning was named senior vice president, integrated and emerging media at Fox Cable Entertainment Networks, based in New York. She comes from The Weinstein Co., where she was senior VP, global integrated marketing.

Hallmark

Sheri Goldberg and Sheri Helmers were elevated to director, program publicity at Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel. Both had been senior publicist.

Also, Hallmark promoted Los Angeles-based Donovan Batiste to research director from research manager of the networks.

ICTV

San Jose, Calif.-based interactive-TV company ICTV has named Mark Dawson vice president, programming services at ICTV ActiveMedia Group. He comes from Gemstar-TV Guide International, where he was director, cross-platform TV guidance product management.

IMT

Los Angeles-based digital-media production and storage provider Integrated Media Technologies has tapped Rob Kobrin as chief technology officer. He had been a consultant.

Navic

Alex Gerster has joined Waltham, Mass.-based advanced television advertising solutions provider Navic Networks as chief marketing officer, based in New York. He comes from media-buying agency Initiative, where he was worldwide CEO.

Nickelodeon

Mark Taylor was promoted to senior vice president, general manager of Nickelodeon Animation Studio, responsible for day-to-day operations in the Burbank, Calif.-based operation. He had been VP, general manager.

Also, John Paul Geurts was named vice president, creative director of Orlando, Fla.-based Nickelodeon Recreation. He had been creative director.

Plum

Rob Gregory has joined New York-based upscale resort community programmer Plum as president, network sales and marketing. He comes from Alpha Media Group, where he was group publisher of Maxim.

Spot Runner

Mark Rosenthal has joined Los Angeles-based ad-services company Spot Runner as president, media platforms and vice chairman. He had been chairman and CEO of Interpublic Media.

Turner

Turner Entertainment New Media has tapped Dennis Chang as Los Angeles-based West Coast sales manager and national sales manager of NBA.com. He was VP, online advertising sales at HuffingtonPost.com.

WICT

Women In Cable Telecommunications has promoted Laurie Root to vice president, education and program development of the Chantilly, Va.-based trade group. She had been director.
