Lifetime Networks Names Partnerships SVP
20-Year Ad, Cable Vet DeSocio Leaves OMD

Lifetime Networks Thursday named David DeSocio as its new senior vice president of Lifetime Partnerships where he’ll be responsible for developing and customizing sponsorship packages for advertisers.
DeSocio, a 20-year veteran of the cable television and advertising industries, previously served as chief strategy officer at OMD where he helped set strategic direction and spearheaded initiatives to deliver consumer insights into across media channels and brands.
“Central to the rapid growth of Lifetime is our ability to leverage our powerful brand across multiple platforms,” Debbie Richman, Lifetime’s executive vice president, ad sales, said in a statement. “As we take our business to the next level, David’s proven success and wide-ranging experience in creating innovative opportunities for clients make him a key player in forging new types of advertising partnerships.”
The network said DeSocio will utilize all the company’s assets, including Lifetime Television, Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime Real Women, myLifetime.com, Lifetime Television HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, Lifetime On Demand and Lifetime Movie Network Espanol On Demand, to develop and execute customized sponsorship packages for advertisers.
DeSocio will work out of the network's New York office.
