Dish Network will present ESPN’s coverage of the U.S. Open golf tournament through its interactive TV mosaic, a multiple-screen showcase that is available to all of its more than 12 million iTV-enabled homes, officials said Tuesday.
Dish’s iTV mosaic will feature six different programs of ESPN’s U.S. Open Golf coverage: ESPN’s network feed including: a Featured Group feed showing Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in the first session, and others based on standings; an Up Close channel showing live coverage from the practice range, press conferences and more; a 3rd Hole feed, featuring live coverage of Torrey Pines’ signature Par 3 hole; a Highlights channel, which enables fans to catch up with the championship throughout the day; and The Best of the Open channel, which includes highlights from previous U.S. Open championships and from previous PGA events on the legendary Torrey Pines course.
Viewers can choose to watch all six screens at once, or select one to view in a full-screen format.
The offering will run June 12 to 13 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
