Houston-Based Operator Will Carry Ion Television Network, Qubo and Ion Life

TVMAX, which serves multiple-unit dwellings in Houston, has done a deal to launch Ion Media Networks’ channel suite, officials said Monday.
TVMAX has agreed to carry the Ion Television Network and to launch Ion’s 24-hour linear digital networks: qubo, a children’s network focusing on values and literacy, and Ion Life, a channel focusing on active living and personal growth.
“This agreement with Ion truly demonstrates our commitment to quality programming,” TVMAX chief operating officer David Curtin said in a prepared statement.
TVMAX is a Houston -based cable operator focused on the provision of video and data services to the MDU community.
