TV Land Renews ‘She’s Got The Look’

Second Season Will Expand From Six To Eight Episodes

By Larry Barrett -- Multichannel News, 7/1/2008 7:27:00 AM

TV Land Tuesday confirmed that it will renew its modeling reality series She’s Got The Look for a second season, expanding the run from six to eight episodes beginning sometime in 2009.

Allison Grodner (Big Brother, Blowout) will return as the series’ executive producer. In its first season, She’s Got The Look has averaged 633,000 total viewers and 409,000 adults between 25-54. Among adults 40-54, it’s averaging a 0.5 rating (262,000 viewers), up 33% compared to programming it aired in the same time period last year. The show attracts viewers with a median age of 46.

“We’re so excited that She’s Got The Look resonates with our viewers,” Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land, said in a statement. “The show’s message of reinvention and the pursuit of life-long dreams is something identifiable to our audience of 40 and 50 year olds.  We can’t wait to introduce our viewers to another group of ageless beauties.”

She’s Got The Look pits aspiring fashion models 35 years and older against one in another in a series of competitions to determine which contestant deserves a “second chance at supermodel stardom” and a lucrative modeling contract.

Applications for She’s Got The Look 2 can be found on TVLand.com starting July 2.
