Pam Anderson Reality Show Delivers Lukewarm Ratings
'Girl on the Loose' Averages 1.1 Million Viewers in Debut

Pam Anderson’s latest project, Pam: Girl on the Loose, pulled an average of nearly 1.1 million viewers in its debut Sunday night, scoring particularly well among women viewers between 18-34 but falling short of the ratings success enjoyed by fellow Playboy alumnae in their respective reality show debuts.
E! officials said the 1.1 million total viewers (0.94 household rating) who tuned in for the 10 p.m. premiere Sunday night almost doubled the network’s primetime ratings for the same period.
However, the network’s 2002 blowout debut of The Anna Nicole Show garnered more than 4 million viewers and this year’s Denise Richards: It’s Complicated series premiere attracted more than 1.5 million total viewers.
Girl on the Loose drew more than 2.3 million viewers combined for the 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. ET airings, E! officials said.
E!’s other Sunday night reality series, Sunset Tan, actually outdrew Girl on the Loose, averaging nearly 1.3 million total viewers (1.06 household rating) during its 10:30 p.m. ET telecast. Total viewers for the second-season debut were up 61% from its first-season premiere, up 41% among adults 18-34 and 72% among viewers 18-49. A total of 2.2 million viewers tuned in for the 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. ET showings.
For comparison, the October premiere of E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashiansaveraged a household rating of 0.84, according to Nielsen Media Research data and The Girls Next Door, which premiered in August 2005, tallied a 0.91 household rating.
