Outdoor Channel has secured a high-definition launch with Bresnan Communications.
Outdoor Channel, which recently converted its HD offering to a simulcast format, is now available to Bresnan’s customers in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. Deal terms were not disclosed.
“Cable operators are thirsty for high-quality and engaging HD networks,” said Outdoor Channel senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing Randy Brown in a statement. “Since more than 80% of our original programming is produced in HD, Bresnan customers will have a wide variety of high definition shows to choose from.”
All told, Bresnan serves some 300,000 customers in the aforementioned states.
