Pact Set To Expire When Radio Icon’s Satellite Contract Ends

By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 8/13/2008 9:18:00 AM

Howard Stern and iN Demand Networks Wednesday announced an extension to the iconic radio personality’s on-demand TV service through the end of 2010.

Howard TV On Demand will also expand its original programming slate this fall with seven all-new exclusive uncensored programs as well as a trivia-style game show, two shows featuring the outrageous adventures of Stern’s “Wack Pack,” and exclusive behind-the-scenes clips from his radio and television shows.

The contract with iN Demand Networks is set to expire at the end of 2010, coinciding with the conclusion of Stern’s current deal with Sirius Radio.

“Fans of Howard Stern and Howard TV can now celebrate that their favorite TV destination will continue for another two years,” Howard TV executive producer Doug Goodstein said in a statement. “Stern fans can’t get enough of Howard, and Howard TV will provide funny and outrageous original series to complement the great daily and classic shows we already offer. The behind-the-scenes content will give fans an exclusive look at the show from an insider’s perspective.”
