History’s Ice Road Truckers pulled in 2.7 million viewers in its second-season finale Sunday night, making it the most-watched original cable series in its 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET timeslot, network officials said Tuesday.
History said it drew 1.4 million adults 25-54 and 1.3 million adults 18-49 in the final episode, including more than 938,000 men between 25-54.
Ice Road Truckers, which along with the network’s Ax Men series, is executive produced by Thom Beers of Deadliest Catch fame.
Last summer, the series—which chronicles the journey of long-haul truckers who drive their rigs across the frozen Arctic Sea—attracted a record 3.4 million total viewers in its debut.
