Comcast's ThePlatform Teams With Microsoft, Others For Ads
Video Management Subsidiary Also Partners With Five Other Online Ad Proponents,

Comcast subsidiary thePlatform, which provides video management and publishing services, has added Microsoft’s adManager and five other online advertising platforms as options for customers.
The other new ad platforms, which will be integrated with thePlatform’s, are DoubleClick’s In-Stream, WPP’s 24/7 Real Media, Tremor Media, Kiptronic and LiveRail.
ThePlatform had previously teamed with advertising partners including Adap.tv, BlackArrow, Lightningcast, Panache, PayPal, ScanScout, SpotXchange and DoubleClick’s DART.
"Media companies are demanding more choices and enhanced capabilities to support their advertising efforts in online video," said thePlatform CEO Ian Blaine, in a statement. "As part of the open, video management system that we provide, customers want the ability to work with the best-in-class solutions providers in a seamless way.”
