Monday Night’s 'Who Bob What Pants?' 7.7 Million Viewers

SpongeBob SquarePants’ WhoBob What Pants? special garnered more than 7.7 million viewers for Nickelodeon Monday night, making it television's most-watched program among kid and tween viewers for the evening.
The half-hour special, which aired Monday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m., averaged 4.1 million viewers between 2-11, 2.7 million kids 6-11 and 2.3 million tween viewers between 9-14.
Meanwhile, a new online SpongeBob-themed game on Nick's site generated 2.6 million game plays, making it the most popular game on the site since its launch.
In the week leading up to the special’s broadcast, the SpongeBob message board attracted 46,000 unique visitors—making it the site’s most popular interactive section for the week.
SpongeBob SquarePants is syndicated in 171 markets in 25 languages.
