Comcast Media Center inked a marketing pact with itaas, which sells interactive TV software tools and services, to provide development and testing support for CMC’s interactive television platform.
CMC and itaas will jointly offer application development, quality assurance, testing and integration support for the HITS AxIS service, a centralized hosting platform for companies to develop interactive TV applications launched in May.
Itaas, based on its istart program, will let content providers and application developers submit their tru2way and Enhanced Television-Binary Interchange Format applications for testing.
"Itaas' considerable experience in interactive television application development, testing, integration and post-deployment support will help expand support for our HITS AxIS platform," said CMC COO Gary Traver in a statement.
