Viewers Head For ‘The Hills’

MTV Series Garners Season-High Ratings

By Larry Barrett -- Multichannel News, 10/22/2008 7:43:00 AM

MTV’s The Hills averaged a 3.7 household rating among viewers 12-34 Monday night, making it the most-watched episode of the season.

The Hills After Show followed up on that momentum by posting a 2.8 rating among the same demographic immediately following the series latest telecast, network officials said.

The 3.7 rating marks a 22% improvement compared to the prior four-episode average so far this season.

Among women viewers 18-24, The Hills Aftershow posted an 11.3 rating, up 72% from last week’s episode.

The Hills was created by Adam DiVello. Liz Gateley, Adam DiVello and Sean Travis serve as executive producers.
