Crime & Investigation Makes HD Debut

A&E-Owned Service Launches on DirecTV

Crime & Investigation Network HD had its debut Wednesday with its launch on DirecTV.

Additional carriage deals for the HD service, which is owned by A&E Television Networks, are expected to be announced in the near future, according to a network spokesman. A&E has previously said that it planned to launch the new Crime & Investigation Network HD service in the fourth quarter.

The standard definition Crime & Investigation Network has some limited U.S. distribution, on Verizon and AT&T’s video platforms.
