By Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 10/31/2008 5:16:00 AM EDT

The Philadelphia Phillies weren’t the only winner when they captured the 2008 World Series.

Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, which televised 92 Phillies regular-season games, also scored well during the club’s postseason run with attendant preview and wrap-up shows. Today, the regional sports network will help Phillies fans revel in the moment a little longer, providing commercial-free coverage of the team’s World Series parade, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Neil Hartman, John Boruk and Ron Burke will be stationed along the parade route, while Michael Barkann, Mitch Williams, Ricky Bottalico and Leslie Gudel will be live from the ballpark, offering viewers with an inside look at the celebration, including exclusive interviews and access to the Phillies players and front office personnel.

Among adults 25 to 54, the games grew 18% to a 3.3 rating against that group.

The regional also scored well with its pre- and post-game coverage, topped by Wednesday night after the franchise clinched its first title since 1980 and only second in its 126-year history. The Oct. 29 Phillies Postgame Live delivered a 6.0 (178,300 households) rating in the DMAN, peaking at a 7.4 rating (220,000 households) after the Phillies clinched the World Series.

Throughout the five-game World Series versus the Tampa Bay Rays, Comcast SportsNet delivered a 3.0 rating (89,100 households) for the show, an increase of 11% over its regular-season average.
