Sky Angel Picks Up Qubo, ION Life
Channels Added to Sky Angel's IPTV Lineup

ION Media Networks Tuesday announced a deal that will bring Qubo and ION Life to Sky Angel’s IPTV subscribers.
Sky Angel will renew its affiliation with ION Television and add Qubo Channel, a digital children’s network focused on values and literacy, and ION Life, a digital network committed to the promotion of active living and personal growth, to its linear channel lineup.
“We are delighted to announce our new affiliation with Sky Angel for carriage of Qubo Channel and ION Life,” said Steve Friedman, ION Media Networks’ president of networks distribution, in a statement. “This agreement reinforces the commitment of Qubo Channel and ION Life to promoting literacy, values and healthy lifestyles and represents yet another step in fulfilling our multi-platform distribution strategy.”
Sky Angel’s IPTV programming is transmitted over a closed, secure path, utilizing high-speed Internet connections like DSL or cable broadband, to a set-top box that is then viewed on television sets.
