Cablevision To Launch Four HD Channels From NBCU
MSO’s Lineup to Include CNBC HD, USA HD, Sci Fi Channel HD and Bravo HD

Cablevision Systems this week will launch six new channels from NBC Universal, including four in HD: CNBC HD, USA HD, Sci Fi Channel HD and Bravo HD.
CNBC HD will launch on channel 771, USA HD on channel 738, Sci-Fi HD on channel 748 and Bravo HD on channel 745, the cable operator said in a filing with the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control.
In addition, Cablevision will launch two new standard-definition channels from NBCU—Chiller, specializing in horror and suspense programming, and Sleuth, dedicated to crime and mystery fare—available to customers subscribing to iO Silver or Gold packages.
Cablevision also said it will be making Comcast’s Golf Channel HD and Versus HD available as full-time channels. Golf HD is expanding to full-time and will move from channel 719 to channel 787; Versus HD will occupy the 719 slot. The channels will be available to video customers with HD equipment subscribing to iO Sports Pak or above.
