By Multichannel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 12/5/2008 9:08:00 AM

Author, comedian and Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange will be the subject of a special on Howard TV On Demand service, beginning next week.

Lange, whose Too Fat To Fish autobiography, debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times best-seller list (non-fiction), has been promoting the book around the country, with Howard TV On Demand documenting his travels. The result, Artie Lange: Too Fat to Fish Book Special is set to bow on service, starting Dec. 18.

Featured in the show are Stern, cast members, special guests Seth Green and Lisa Lampanelli, Stern show writer Benjy Bronk and fans. Lange’s friends and family including his mother, who originally coined the phrase “too fat to fish,” are also in the mix.
