Brightcove Expands Partner Program
Online Video Platform Provider Lines Up 80 Partner Companies

Internet TV platform provider Brightcove has grown its roster of partners to 80, which provide a range of pre-integrated technologies and services for the company’s video publishing and management system.
The Brightcove Alliance includes companies offering design, advertising networks and server technologies, delivery and distribution, analytics and audience measurement, social media and community building.
Companies participating in Brightcove Alliance launch include: 24/7 Real Media, Google and DoubleClick, AOL Video, Metacafe, Veoh Networks, Nielsen Online, Slide, Limelight Networks, Maverick Television and OgilvyInteractive. Through the alliance, according to Brightcove, partners will have access to training, support, technology and comarketing opportunities for reaching the Brightcove customer base.
The latest iteration of the Brightcove platform includes a set of application programming interfaces (APIs) that partners can use to integrate with and build solutions on top of the Brightcove platform.
Brightcove’s media customers include Time Warner Inc.’s AOL, Discovery Communications, Fox’s Fuel TV, MTV Networks, Showtime Networks, Lifetime Networks and Cablevision Systems’ Rainbow Media.
In early 2009, Brightcove said, it will introduce training and certification programs for partners and channel resellers.
