Fine Living Orders 13 Episodes of ‘Closet Cases’

'Style Guy' Lloyd Boston Gets New Series

By Linda Moss -- Multichannel News, 12/8/2008 10:08:00 AM EST

Fine Living Network next year will debut a new series called Closet Cases that will feature “Style Guy” Lloyd Boston, officials said Monday.

Boston (left) will lend practical fashion advice to the wardrobe challenged, helping both men and women revitalize their closets to help them rediscover their most stylish selves.   The series premieres nationwide April 13 and will air regularly Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.

The network has committed to 13 episodes of the 30-minute show.

Boston has been offering fashion advice and tips for the past decade to millions through his books—Before You Put That On (Simon & Schuster), Make Over Your Man (Doubleday) and Men ofColor (Artisan)—and his countless television appearances on shows such as Oprah, The View and NBC’s Today.

He has been a leading television voice of New York Fashion Week for nearly 16 seasons and recently teamed up with Jones New York as their first exclusive “Style Guy” spokesperson, which affords him the opportunity to travel the country and share his fashion sense with real women and men.

Boston is also the former vice president of art direction for Tommy Hilfiger and has been a style lecturer to numerous brands including Giorgio Armani and American Express.
