Comcast Sports Group Lifts Carty-Sipp
Veteran Promoted to SVP Of Creative Services

Comcast Sports Group has promoted April Carty-Sipp to senior vice president of creative services.
Currently the vice president of creative services, Carty-Sipp assumes her new role on Jan. 1 and will continue to report to Comcast Sports Group president Jon Litner.
She is responsible for the on-air look of Comcast Sports Group’s family of regional sports networks, including the development of new on-air promotions, network logos, graphics, sets and music earlier this year. Carty-Sipp is also overseeing those elements for The Comcast Network, which Comcast Sports Group is integrating in the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic regions, and Comcast Sports Group’s growth onto emerging digital platforms.
Carty-Sipp joined Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia’s marketing and promotions department in 2000 and was promoted to her present position in 2004. Previously she served as senior producer/on-air promotions director for Philadelphia’s UPN affiliate, the former UPN 57, and worked in the marketing department for the Philadelphia Phillies
“April was an instrumental part of the recent redesign of our networks’ on-air look and I am very pleased to recognize her creative talent with this well-deserved promotion,” said Litner in a statement. “As we continue to grow our business her leadership will be a critical part of our success.”
