Lifetime Movie Network's original movie What Color Is Love? attracted strong ratings among women 18-49 and 25-54 in its debut Sunday night.

The movie drew a 1.1 rating among women 18-49 (451,393 viewers) and a 1.2 rating among women 25-42 (462,669 viewers), good enough to make it the third-highest-rated original movie in network history.

Network officials said the premiere's delivery among women 18-49 was 27% above its average for originals and 13% above its average for women 25-54. The ratings increased with each consecutive half-hour during the movie's two-hour presentation. In households, the film checked in with a 1.9 rating.

What Color is Love? is based on a true story about an interracial love affair that turns into a controversial custody battle. The original movie stars Doug Savant, Roger Cross and Jennifer Finnigan.

The next Lifetime Movie Network original film will be Taken in Broad Daylight, starring James Van Der Beek, which premieres Sunday, February 15, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
