NFL Network is taking a look back at the legendary career of Brett Favre on Feb. 14, with a 21-hour marathon of memorable games involving No. 4.
Favre, who announced his retirement from the NFL and New York Jets on Feb. 11, will be at the helm of four classic games and five NFL Replay contests from the 2008 campaign, kicking off at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
First up in the 21 hours of Favre: his Packers debut against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 20, 1992. That will be followed by Packers-Dallas Cowboys 1995 NFC championship game at noon; the Pack's Super Bowl XXXI triumph over the New England Patriots at 3 p.m.; and his four-TD performance after the death of his father against the Oakland Raiders on Dec. 22, 2003 at 6 p.m.
Those classics will be trailed by five games, all Jets victories, during Favre's ‘final' season.
If Favre unretires again, NFL Network no doubt will be able to add more contests to his programming legacy next year.
