Centris
Fort Washington, Pa.-based market-intelligence firm Centris has named William J. Beaumont president.
Comcast
Andy McCarthy has advanced to vice president, engineering and technical operations in Comcast’s Western New England Region. He had been senior director, engineering for Comcast in Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and New York.
Comcast Networks
Steve Margosian has been named senior vice president, marketing solutions and sports sales, Comcast Networks, within the Comcast Sports Sales Group. He had been VP, marketing solutions.
Also, Comcast Entertainment Group has elevated Steve Dolcemaschio to chief operating officer. He had been executive VP, finance and business operations.

Erin Pinckey has joined Comcast Spotlight as director, marketing in Washington, D.C. She comes from Comcast Cable, where she was area director of marketing for the Tri-County area of Montgomery, Prince George’s and Frederick Counties, Md.
Also, Comcast Spotlight has added Amanda Sheehan as local area director for Maryland, responsible for the Western Maryland, Fredrick, Suburban Maryland Northeast and Suburban Maryland Southeast areas. She comes from the D.C. Examiner, where she was VP, advertising and marketing.

Cox Media in Hampton Roads, Va., has named Kari Jacobs as local sales manager. She comes from WVEC-TV in Hampton, Va., where she was local sales manager.

Doug Seybert has been named vice president, marketing at Discovery Emerging Networks. He had been VP, marketing of Discovery HD Theater.

Michele Ellison has been named acting general counsel of the Federal Communications Commission. She had been deputy general counsel.

Gospel Music Channel has upped Alvin Williams to senior director, music, talent and acquisitions. He had been senior director, music-industry development.

Steve Liu was elevated to vice president, product management and business development at digital content monitoring solutions provider Mixed Signals.
