Bravo Cuts Third Season Deal For 'Shear Genius'

Picks Up Fashion Photo Docu-Series 'Double Exposure'

Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 3/5/2009 5:07:22 PM

Bravo has picked up hairstyling competition show Shear Genius and approved the debut of docu-series Double Exposure, featuring renowned art and fashion photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani.
Shear Genius, produced by Reveille, ended its second season on a high note, scoring 1.88 million adults 18 to 49 and 2.91 million total viewers, marking a series high across all key demos, according to Bravo officials.

Open calls for stylists interested in competing in the high-stakes hair-cutting competition series will be held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Nashville and Austin, Texas in the weeks ahead.
Double Exposure follows photographers Klinko and Indrani, along with high-end stylist GK Reid, to give viewers a taste of the fast-paced world of high-fashion and celebrity photography.
With two former lovers working together 18 hours a day in stressful environments, filled with deadlines, stretched budgets, expensive locations and demanding talent, it's not unusual for sparks to fly both on camera and outside the frame.

Double Exposure is produced by Juma Entertainment for Bravo. Bob Horowitz and Lewis Fenton serve as executive producers
