Beyonce Joins Nick's Wow! Wow! Wuzzby! For Special Episodes
Star Provides Character Voiceover, Original Song For Series Arc

Multiple Grammy winner and actress Beyonce Knowles is adding kids programming to her credits with a voiceover gig on Nickelodeon's Emmy Award-winning animated preschool comedy series Wow!, Wow! Wuzzby! later this month.
In her first kids project, Knowles will provide the voice of Shine, the lead singer of The Wubb Girlz, the hottest girls band around, with a week-long celebration from April 27 through May 1.
The four music-filled episodes feature a new original song composed and performed by Knowles titled, "Sing a Song", which will be available at iTunes and other digital outlets on April 21. The week culminates with an hour-long Wubb Idol, comprising select episodes that will air that week. The "movie" will replay on Noggin in primetime on May 3, at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
The kids kingpin will support the "Wubb Girlz" premiere week online and via wireless with dedicated playlists, beginning Monday, April 20. The playlists will include themed clips and full Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! episodes, as well as an instant replay of the "Wubb Idol" movie on Nick Jr. Video. Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will continue its presence on Nickelodeon video on demand throughout the month of April.
The Nick Jr. Web site will feature an interactive game and activities to complement the "Wubb Girlz" premiere week. Beginning April 15, NickJr.com will feature "The Great Microphone Hunt" game, where kids can go online and help Wubbzy and good friend Daizy search the Wubb Club to find The Wubb Girlz microphones which they have been lost. "I'm so happy to be a part of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! because I'm finally able to impress my nephew," said Knowles in a statement. "Shine is a member of the group The Wubb Girlz, which I can identify with having grown up in Destiny's Child. The Wubb Girlz are all about unity -- they sing cool harmonies and have an amazing new original song, ‘Sing a Song.'"
