The Cable and Television Association of Marketing Florida, the Florida Cable Telecommunications Association and the Association of Cable Communicators are partnering to deliver value to this year's Florida Cable Connection event on June 18-19.
The ACC will host a communications educational track on June 18, 2009 at the Florida Cable Connection, and provide a registration scholarship, valued at $100 each, for up to 30 ACC members to attend the Thursday conference events. For an additional $25, ACC members can also register to attend sessions the next day. Selected scholarships recipients will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
"Collaboration is key in today's economic environment, so we are pleased to partner with CTAM Florida" said Steve Jones, executive director of ACC, in a statement. "A key ACC objective for 2009 is to host regional events for our members throughout the U.S. The Florida Cable Connection lent itself nicely to meeting this objective while providing additional benefits to our members.
Members can contact Jones at sjones@cablecommunicators.org for more information about how to receive a registration scholarship.
In January, the FCTA and CTAM Florida joined forces to organize the first ever "Florida Cable Connection," which will provide member organizations and industry-supporting companies in Florida a consolidated regional event in a single location.
Early registration for the Florida Cable Connection with special pricing of $125 for members and $160 for non-members is available to the first 120 registrations through April 30, or until capacity is reached. For more information visit www.floridacableconnection.com.
