Two sisters from E! Entertainment Television's Keeping Up with the Kardashians are breaking out on their own.
Kardashian sisters Khloe and Kourtney will leave the California-based clan and head to Miami as part of a new summer half-hour series tentatively titled Kourtney and Khloe in Miami.
E! has ordered eight installments of the new show from Keeping Up with the Kardashians' producers Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray Productions. Kourtney and Khloe is scheduled to debut in August, according to the network.
The original series continues to draw viewers in its third season. Through six episodes, Keeping Up with the Kardashians averaged 1.5 million viewers, up from 1.4 million last season. The network, however, has yet to greenlight a fourth season of the popular series.
"E! viewers have fallen in love with Kourtney and Khloe's outspoken, unpredictable and highly entertaining personalities," said Lisa Berger, executive vice president, original programming and series development for E! in a statement. "It is exciting to work once again with Ryan Seacrest and Bunim-Murray to bring viewers a new series with Kourtney and Khloe."
