TLC Starts Summer Slate With Memorial Day Weekend Push
'Jon & Kate,' Joined By 'Cake Boss,' 'Little Couple' In May's Last Week

As expected, TLC officially announced that family series hit Jon & Kate Plus 8 will return Memorial Day weekend as part of the network's new summer schedule.
Following the fifth-season debut of Jon & Kate at 9 p.m. on May 25, which will mark the series' 100th episode, TLC has scheduled the series bow of Cake Boss, featuring baker Buddy Valastro as he fulfill his father's dream of establishing a family-run bakery in Hoboken, N.J.
The following day TLC will follow The Little Couple, in which newlywed, sub-four-footers Bill share the trials and tribulations of love and marriage with viewers. Another new high-end wedding series, Wedded To Perfection, will also take its initial vows.
TLC will cap its week of new programming on May 29 at 9 p.m., with the seventh-season opener of makeover and style show What Not To Wear, with Mayim Bialik (Blossom) appearing on the episode.
